Credits Layout design by Eefennie. edited by mua. | Tuesday, April 03, 2012  stupid luhan stupid pretty face stupid perfect voice i hate you :( when was the last time i fell this hard this fast? i can't even remember. this is bordering on the brink of obsession, much to the amusement (frustration?) of my friends. sobs i want to punch him and love him at the same time. how does he look like that. how does he even exist. why does he look so tiny. how does he anti-age. how is it possible for someone to look. like. that. and he's chinese! i can understand him without translations! we share the same mother tongue! yeah, i'm never going to get over that. it’s funny- i find my obsession with luhan weird because he’s of my race. yeah so maybe i’ve been in kpop for a tad bit too long. his accent surprised me! i expected him to speak in the “proper” chinese way, the way most people in the broadcasting industry speak. (see: zhoumi). there’s this discrimination among the richer, more influential circles in china where accents are looked down upon so i assumed luhan would have so-called perfect speech at well. but no! luhan’s beijing accent is soft, but i still hear it. the way he tilts certain words, and presses the tone down on some endings (like how he peppers every other sentence with 吗). and i love it. it makes him feel all that closer. how do i say it… 有种莫名的亲切感？ also, lukai is obviously the superior ship. hunhan doesn’t have that ~sekshual tenshun~ thing that lukai has got going on. in the hunhan relationship, sehun is obviously the clingier one and he waddles after luhan like an imprinted duckling. luhan tolerates him and amuses him and treats him like a child. it’s more like a one sided crush on a hyung, really. in the lukai relationship tho, luhan lusts after kai, and kai returns those feelings but kai is a tsundere so there are only promises of what will happen in private. here, kai holds the upper hand, perhaps reveling in the fact that luhan still has to rely on him for some language help, and that they’re in his home country. we all know who tops. epik till the death of me; 9:49 PM |
