AND NOW IT JUST DISCONNECTED. This is really putting a damper on my fangirlishness. I'm waiting for a new Clazziquai album. I didn't like Vintage Romance. Vintage Romance is Alex's solo album, by the way. Clazziquai projects are great, but Vintage Romance is well, kinda boring. i've had enough of Korean ballads, frankly. Alex has a good voice, so soothing. He laughed. "Yeah, i hate it when the net is slow." He thinks I'm being sarcastic but no, I REALLY mean wow. This is REALLY fast, considering the recent speed. These days, the net is so slow it's killer. On a good day, it'll be around 50/60. On a great day (these are rare, maybe once in a blue moon. Literally.)maybe around 125kb/s. On most days, it's just around 12-15. And on bad days, it stays around 125 BYTES per second. and bad days are increasingly often recently. it takes THREE hours to download a 2 MB song. He means the friend who lost his life to cancer? The same friend who took on Tablo's dreams of making music but left the world before he managed to? ► I spent the night watching yaoi fanvids of dbsk, suju and ss501 (sometimes i watch shinhwa, but they prove to be too disturbing even for me) and i noticed a huge problem. The world is overpopulated with females already. For every 100 males, there are 12 females. 28 perfectly good males loving each other mean 28 poor girls will not have a partner. It's so sad, they're adding to this problem. And the worse thing is, the gay is an epidemic spreading across korea (and some parts of japan!) that simply cannot be stopped. Everyone who dares to enter the entertainment industry will slowly get sucked into the web of homosexuality. Under the pretense of doing "fanservice", they perform acts of skinship which make fangirls go spastic with joy. Slowly, skinship becomes so natural its just a part of life. Running your arm up and down another man's arm? Perfectly normal. A kiss on his cheeks, or even lips? Don't all men do that? Well, no, they don't. ► When I stalk EpikHigh I'm always in a kind of daze. I search for translations of the songs, to further know the songs so that I can really appreciate it. My mind struggles to understand the lyrics, it struggles to grasp the melodies, it struggles to listen to the rap that flies by before I truly hear it. It's almost... Overwhelming. Tablo, Mithra and Tukutz wrote and composed almost every song on the album, the remaining songs written by the same few names, Pe2ny, Dj Yankee and such. Fucking amazing. How can they manage to remember the different lyrics from the different songs and not mix them up? Tablo leaves me breathless. I can't even begin to understand his genius mind. I truly understand perhaps only half of what he's trying to say. He dares to say whats on his mind. He's questions religion, society, life. He sparks debates and discussions. He did so entirely in English in Lesson 1 from Remapping The Human Soul. And shit, he wrote that song when he was at Stanford. I was listening to EpikHigh's Breakdown remix on Youtube and the comments could basically be summarized into two words: Holy shit. Yes, everyone's comment started with that or something similar. This is sick. This is awesome. Amazing. Damn if I could rap like that. My words exactly. Oh god, I love him. No, I RESPECT him. He leaves me in awe. AGAIN They should just stop having concerts that put all these bands together. It was Primadonnas against Cassiopeans last time. Now its SNSD vs ELFs and Cass. Triples, surprisingly, stayed out of it. (Lmao, I said they should've chosen the EpikHigh section and I was right! Its so much closer anyway} I don't even know which rumour is true, but who cares? IT SO AMUSING. I repeat, RUMOUR this will probably blow over as a bunch of rumours anyway, its just for your amusement. At the dream concert, ELF hung up posters but were ripped by SNSD fans. they ripped hyukjae donghae kyuhyun eeteuk kangin yesung posters. oh, latest update: they just ripped yunho's banner. and hangeng's. they basically ripped everyones. and then about 700 elf werent allowed into the stadium even though the seats weren't filled, which pissed off ELF even more. SNSD fans rushed to the stage during some part of the concert and the concert was stopped for half an hour. Then ELF apparently threw water bombs at snsd fans. There are even rumours of stabbing incidents. And then EVERYONE turned off their lights during SNSD's performance, leaving only a small patch of pink lights. while snsd sang, elf and cass kept quiet! SNSD fans are now threatening to ruin SM's shanghai concert. Wow, from the comments i read at baidu these fans ARE EVIL. "This 913, YOU DIE, OR I DIE" "Come to Shanghai! I'll 'take good care' of you~" So Wondergirls are getting a lot of love, cause everyone knows SNSD x Wondergirls. They say EVERYONE sang Tell Me loudly, just to piss off SNSD fans. <3 I wish I was there. They should just stop having concerts with everyone. Organisers: *sigh* next time, i'm only getting Epik High and Wondergirls. epik till the death of me; 9:33 PM Thursday, June 05, 2008 Bali was not what I imagined it to be. Remember the pristine beaches and quaint little buildings showed in travel shows in Bali and that Korean drama Love in Bali? You can get that... If you work out a couple thousand dollars and get a villa somewhere off the shores of Bali. For the rest of us average people, its kinda messy, full with people wanting to sell useless things to you at crazy prices and tinged with smoke(every breath smells heavily of cigarette smoke and exhaust smoke). It's like Thailand, except with Thailand, there are actually things to buy. For the most part, we spent the days shuttling around the island in a Suzuki visiting lesser known temples and not so less known tourist spots(which, now that i think about it, is basically little stalls built near to a temple) We visited a lot of restaurants and cafe and spent hours sipping our little milkshakes and fruit juices. One night, we had a candlelight seafood dinner on the beach while being serenaded by a band. The romantic setting was unfortunately spoilt by the fact that we needed to use hands to tackle our crabs. I mean, I want to talk about Junsu stripping for the concert, the Yunjae towel incident, SujuH hotness, SS501 spasm, yoohwan EIGHTY THOUSAND STRONG FANCLUB, but no. My brother. Is at it again. He backpacked across America last summer, going from Iowa to Hollywood, where he took pictures of the Hollybowl and Dream Concert posters for me <3 But he did it by riding buses and trains. Took him two weeks. Now. He's CYCLING across America. From Iowa to New York, on a bike. he's got a site for it even. http://www.crazyguyonabike.com/ArmandTanzarian And I quote him. I've been planning this for a while now. Biking almost 4000 miles across the midwestern and eastern USA. If there's a definition of insanity I suppose that'd be it.But I can tell you why I want to do this. Because I'm destined to live my life as a timid pencil pusher, at least until the day I get too old or too tied down to bike epic journeys. And I'm taking this opportunity to just say "F*** normality". I want to tell people that I did something so outrageous and insane, they wouldn't believe it.He's living my dream damn it. Do you know how hard it is to cycle? The roads.. aren't even roads. Its just dirt. Filled with cow poop. So far, he's travelled 193 miles (311 km). And this is the guy who wouldn't even get on the Cyclematic exercise machine in our living room. His bike broke down and he hitchhiked to Chicago. Props to him.
