I stalk Epik mostly after midnight; when my mind is sharpest, when the neighbbours are sleeping and the silence is filled only with rap and a strong beat.  The cover certainly is different. 01 Butterfly effect is english.The beggining sounds a little creepy, especially since its late at night. Its so typically Epik. 02.Fallin' is nice. I love the soft piano underlying the strong rap.It's almost addictive and I can imagine it getting stuck in my head. 03 Harajuku Days features a man humming the entire song. Who are these random featurers? 04 습관 I love Ha DongKyun. His voice is husky and comforting to listen to. 05 쉿 is an instrumental.Its echoing throughout the house, making it eerily satisfying. 06 1분 1초 This song. I... love this song so much. 07 1825 (paper cranes)What should I do, what should I do, I... repeated over and over, with different twists to it each time. It makes you think. You process the meaning of the lyrics much better, maybe because of the darkness engulfing you, or because of the stifling silence. 행복합니다 is about a doctor. He's frustrated, so frustrated he wants to scream. He believes he is going to die. He vows to stop smoking, to learn new things, to make his life worth more in this world. He wants and will be happy. It explains why there's a hidden message about killing himself and a child, because he can, with the misdose of medicine, or a slip of the operating knife, he can.And no one will ever know. The rest of the songs... Are mostly refering to the Bible and to the downfall of society. I don't understand the many refences to God, and I will never truly understand those songs even with the help of lyrics. it doesn't matter. I like this album now. FInally they're back with an album that blends house and techno Ibadi and My Vintage Romance are nice albums, sure. But you get tired of the songs after a while cause all the songs generally sound the same. Beat in Love has a strong beat, but there's a weird cheerleader-like screaming part (to the dance! to the dance!)towards the end. As usual, huge usage of English (Alex the showoff). The album cover and mv are just great bursts of colour. Its like a rainbow attacked my eyes. But I'm not complaining. OMG I FOUND MYK'S MYSPACE. stalker me. http://www.myspace.com/mykmusyk there's even two pictures of him. AND MYK IS THE ONE WHO FEATURD IN PE2NY'S RAINCLOUD IN MY ROOM! That's my favourite track in eternal morning! I fell in love with MYK's voice a while ago. don't know how he looks like, I don't know where he's from, how old he is. I know zilch about him. I only love his voice. Its not like me to fall for someone I've never seen. I'm stalking the members of Movement one by one. So far I've done Epik, TBNY (YANKEE'S IN TBNY!), MYK, and of course, G1, generally known as Eunjiwon, or Eunchoding. ► If you asked me to choose my favourite female singer, I'll choose Younha hands down. Her new album didn't disappoint, showcasing her clear, powerful voice as well her sensitive side. Of course, Tablo featuring in her title track was an added bonus. I like Hero, it reminds me of Audition and 혜성. I've always liked her even since watching her mv on mnet two christmases ago and then being lucky enough to catch her mnet performance outside a shopping centre by chance. She sang Audition, and since I just watched her mv a day ago, I recognised her. The power of her voice stuck me and I stayed to watch her perform with the white piano. She wore a short skirt and when she went off stage, a guard threw a blanket around her shivering figure. (Hey, I'm in three layers and still freezing) She was right beside me but there was a small group -about 10- girls following her with cameras going "Onni, onni," so I stayed my distance. She smiled and bowed and thanked like all good idol stars and disappeared into the tents. (The same tents where Battle was waiting) Upon returning to Malaysia, I tried halfheartedly to search for that catchy song but I'd completely forgotten her name! I missed the intro of the performance and didn't pay much attention to the mv. With my advanced stalking skills, I found her soon enough and have been following her progress ever since. Did you know she auditioned for SM? She was adorable in a white fluffy hat and her vocals kicked ass but the judges (darn HOT. You can't sing that well yourself) gave her a fairly low score. Hyukjae and Junsu were featured in the same video. Hyukjae sucked at singing while Junsu sucked at dancing. Both got higher scores than Younha. She went to Japan and debuted before someone recognised her talent and pulled her back to Korea. epik till the death of me; 4:06 PM |
